Where the United States has too much ambition is not in Obama’s plans but in the way we are existing right now. We have huge expenses we cannot maintain, we have hundreds of military bases overseas, we divide the world up into zones and try to control what is happening in each zone, we want reasonable health care and we want people to get rich providing it, etc. These and others are the real excess ambition, not plans to tackle them
