What about men? Why are “women and children” always listed in accounts like this as the “innocents” who die but non-fighting men are not. I have such a light touch when it comes to choosing conflict I could never be an Israeli commander. How can they choose to fire into a UN school compound? Doesn’t anybody say “perhaps we shouldn’t do that?”
