I agree with David. This is exactly like a plane crash, what with the possibly permanent decimating of an entire ecosystem and difficult-to-litigate damages. Destroying entire state’s shores is EXACTLY like a plane crash. Well said, David Brooks. I can see why you are by far the most popular opinion-page writer with the Times
